Originally the plantation manager’s house, the ‘Skipper’s House’ which is located in The Yard @ Sion Hill, has been restored to its exact dimensions. The Top Floor, apartment housed the plantation managers and their families for generations, while the Ground Floor was used for livestock feed storage as far back as anyone knows. The apartment still showcases some of its original architectural elements such as the original exposed ceiling beams.

Uniquely, this apartment has two master bedrooms to choose from, the 'Branch Suite', and the 'Massiah Suite', both with en suite bathrooms - these were named to pay hommage to those who came before us. The spacious rooms in this apartment, shaded by a stand of mature mahogany trees, remain cool and breezy year round. - Our tenants and guests have unrestricted use of the surrounding gardens, grounds and facilities. There are two swimming pools on the property; The Community Pool at the Skipper’s house has a spacious deck area for sun, and a shaded area perfect for pool side dining. The other pool is located a short distance away at the Orchard Apartment.
